  • Customer Experience Associate

Today we are the fastest growing watch and sunglass brand in Europe with over 1 Million followers across our social media platforms and presence in over 30 countries. Our products stand out for superior quality at accessible prices and have been featured by Vogue, Fast Company, Glamour and many more top press outlets. Now, we want to continue our success story here in the USA with our brand new office in NYC. We’re searching for outgoing, detail oriented and passionate people.

     

    As a Customer Experience Associate, you are the face and voice of Kapten & Son. You're the first point of contact for our customers, aiming to build our brand from the ground up through engaging our customers with excellence. You will interface with customers on the phone, via email and social media. You are a problem-solver at heart with a sophisticated style of communication, an interest in fashion and drive to deliver to top experience.

     

    As a part of our Kapten crew your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

     

    • Delivering above-and-beyond customer service for incoming inquiries via phone, email and social media (i.e., respond to customer inquiries) and be the voice of our brand – you own the customer experience and are our customers’ internal advocate
    • Assisting in sales by providing detailed information about products and services with the goal of increasing revenue, improving retention rates and grow customer satisfaction
    • Providing fashion and style advice to customers
    • Gathering constructive feed-back from customers and making tactical recommendations to our team
    • Driving customer research efforts (e.g., through development of customer surveys)
    • Relentlessly thinking of ways to improve on service, streamlining processes, and better supporting customers
    • Thinking outside the box to optimize each customer's experience
    • Circling back with technology, marketing, design, and merchandising on customer insights and feedback
    • Being the cornerstone of Kapten & Son’s culture

     

    Qualifications and skills:

     

    • You're a recent college graduate or have 1-2 years of work experience, preferably with a consumer company (B2C)
    • Customer sales experience or experience working in a call center is a big plus
    • Distinctive EQ and exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Passion for fashion and style
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment with tight deadlines along with a flexible working schedule to meet business needs (holidays, peak seasons, events, etc.)
    • A motivated, positive, and selfless attitude
    • Smart, highly organized and detail oriented
    • Applicable knowledge and experience in fashion, consumer goods & lifestyle is a plus
    • Friendly yet slightly firm in order to avoid being pushed over by customers and obtain losses for the company
    • Eager to learn and grow with Kapten & Son (you have a growth-mindset)

  • Regional Retail Sales Manager

Today we are the fastest growing watch manufacturer in Europe and especially known as "the watch with the anchor." Our products stand out for superior quality at accessible prices and have been featured by Vogue, Fast Company, Glamour and many more top press outlets.

    Now, we want to continue our success story in the USA with our brand new office in NYC. We’re searching for entrepreneurial minded and experienced sales people.

    As a part of our crew as Kapten’s Regional Sales Manager your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Arrange orders for new and existing retail partners, by:
      • Leveraging existing network / relationships within assigned territory
      • Seeking out new retail partners that fit to our brand
    • Maintain and communicate all records of all sales to the retailers and the brand HQ.
    • Train all retail staff for various accounts and provide all selling strategies.
    • Develop and maintain effective relations with all owned retail clients and recommend client direction and maintain all inventories for various products.
    • Manage all communication with US sales manager / HQ.
    • Monitor and report on all competitor activity.
    • Log weekly progress of sales and review with Sales Managers and participate in various conference calls with sales team.
    • Maintain all brand displays and ensure compliance to all standards and prepare reports for all merchandising managers.

     

    Qualifications and skills:

        •    Degree in business with marketing focus or degree in relevant field

        •    Certified experience in online/social media marketing (ideally also in technical problem  
             solving/technical issues)

        •    Has proven / visible experience in selling fashion accessories into retail

        •    Has existing and active relationships with relevant retailers in the territory (must)

        •    Interest in and knowledge of e-commerce and social media trends

        •    Excellent analytical skills

        •    Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

        •    Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel

        •    You have an affinity towards fashion / lifestyle and you can identify yourself with K&S

    •    You distinguish yourself through entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, remarkable
          engagement & enthusiasm and you like to take initiative

        •    A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must

        •    You are able to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and keep a clear head at all times

        •    You like working in a start-up atmosphere with a young and dynamic team
