Why is a current eye test so important before buying new glasses?
It's important to have your eyes checked professionally by an optician every two years, even if your eyesight feels like 100%. Our eyes change over time and this should be checked regularly.
Of course, an eye test is also useful if you have problems with your eyes in the meantime. This manifests itself, for example, in dry eyes, long periods of screen time, headaches, problems focussing, increased distance for reading and the feeling that your current lenses are no longer sufficient.
For your prescription lenses you can always reorder lenses in our Kapten&Son stores, should something be broken or your values have changed.
We can also offer you new lenses for our sunglasses for almost all models. Please note that we can only offer you lenses with an 85% gray tint and no mirroring or other colors are possible.
